Thirteen patients with COVID-19 hospitalized in four hospitals in Tirana lost their lives in the last 24 hours while 865 other are infected.
Monday's report by the health ministry on the pandemic situation shows disturbing data, similar to what the country went through in mid-November.
According to the daily report made by the Ministry of Health on Monday, the last victims were aged 60-80 - 9 patients were from Tirana. The total number of victims of the pandemic in Albania has already reached to 1,393.
The ministry said that after 2,960 tests performed, 865 citizens tested positive (29.2% positivity) - most of those infected were in Tirana (421), Fier (55), Lushnja (39) and Durres (35).
Already the total number of cases, since the start of the pandemic in Albania has gone to 78,992 cases, of which 47,922 have been able to recover (498 during the last 24 hours) - 60.6% of the total reported cases have been able to be rehabilitated.
Currently, 365 patients are hospitalized in the four hospitals adapted to treat cases of COVID-19 in Tirana, of which 25 are in intensive care - 9 intubated.
There are currently 29,677 people carrying the virus, according to ministry data only 1.2% of them have been hospitalized.
