Internationals more trusted than Government by Albanians

Albanians believe more in the international community, this is of what the poll of the Political Barometer in Euronews Albania with the prestigious company MRB has revealed.

The health care system (46%), televisions (44.3) and educational institutions (43.5) followed the highest reliability of the respondents.

The central government was the fifth most trusted institution by the citizens.

According to the survey, the courts, the parliament and the presidency are the least trusted institutions by the Albanian population.

By gender, women were the ones who expressed the highest credibility in all institutions compared to men, with the sole exception of the case of religious representatives where men had 41.9 percent trust versus 41% of women.

Methodology:

The survey of Albanians' thoughts and attitudes for the April 25, 2021 elections covered 12 constituencies, urban and rural, and was based on over 1600 face-to-face interviews of men and women over 18 year old.
