The Albanian police officer in New York talks about working in the US and facing COVID-19 while going to Kosovo

 Altin Çeloaliaj from the city of Vlora works as a member of the special forces in America and together with 5 other Albanian police officers have arrived in Albania and will then continue their journey in Kosovo for the day of the Independence of Kosovo.

Together with other staff in various departments, they have established the Albanian Police Association in the American Uniform. So far, there are a total of 500 Albanian members who work in US, while the objective is to preserve Albanian values and help the Albanian police in Albania and Kosovo.

In an interview with local media, the young man shares his experience in the American police and the preservation of Albanian values with colleagues and friends. Çeloaliaj was one of the first to be infected with COVID-19 in New York, while he confesses that although a year has passed, the analysis shows that he still has antibodies.

Altin says, among other things, that he is proud to serve this cause and that Albanians in America have a good name, they work hard and are respected.

"We are always proud of Albania, we are also proud of the Albanian-American police officers working in America."

"On February 16 we will enter Kosovo, to meet the Kosovo police. We will go to Adem Jashari Square at the cemetery, we have planned some important meetings."
