Albanian boys raise the Albanian flag at the top of the Serbian mountain

The excursion of the three boys from Peja, Kosovo, has gone viral in the media.

Eduard Racaj, Arbër Aliaj and Arianit Mula are among the Albanians who have climbed the Serbian mountain Midzor and have raised the Albanian flag on its top.

In a Skype connection for ABC Morning, they did not consider it a provocation, but as something common that they do regularly.

What attracted even more attention was the day when this happened - March 7, considered by the Kosovars as the Night of the Fires when Adem Jashari's family was attacked in Prekaz, but the boys considered it a coincidence.

"We are very proud in the first place that we are Albanian and we crown every peak we reach with the Albanian flag", said Arianiti.

While Arbëri emphasized: “Simply climbing has been common that we do every time, it has not been a provocation. The date was a coincidence. "When the flag was raised at the top it was not that we wanted to provoke, it was just a common action for us."
