An Albanian couple has ended up in the hands of Italian police, after being caught with a significant amount of cocaine inside their car.
"Drug rivers along the Autostrada del Sole", local media write about their arrest.
Italian police have announced that the Albanian couple was moving along the "Autostrada del Sole", when in their car "Ford Fiesta" type was hidden a quantity of 12 kg of cocaine in a compartment created especially for this kind of transport.
It is also known that their arrest was made on January 27 in Guardamiglio, but only today the news was announced, due to investigation reasons. They are said to have initially been detained for an anti-Covid check, as they were too far from their place of residence.
When asked by the carabinieri about why they were not at home, they gave incredible excuses.
