Kukes Airport, the first flight in April

 The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku said that "Kukës airport is at the end of construction, in a few days comes the phase of its certification, which opens the way for the first flight, during the month of April, as promised by Prime Minister Rama".

During a TV interview, Balluku explained that the flight test has already been successfully completed, for the procedure of landing and taking off from the air, without touching the runway, as provided by the procedure.

She noted that intensive works are being carried out at Kukës Airport while the design of the take-off and landing procedure has received a stamp and is ready to receive certification.

Regarding the works that are being carried out in the Great Ring Road in the capital, the Minister said that "it is foreseen that within March 31 there will be the opening of a second tunnel, which enables the opening in two directions for those coming to Tirana and those who go to Durrës”.

The Minister expressed the disagreement of President Ilir Meta with the concession of the airport "Mother Teresa" to extend it by 13 years, that "MEI has given all the answers and has responded to the presidency in writing at their request."
