March 30, 1907 began the teaching of the Albanian language in France

 The School of Oriental Languages and Civilizations opened in the French capital Paris on March 30, 1795. Starting from 1907, the Albanian language began to be taught and studied there, which was included in the Department of Central and Eastern European Languages.

The study of the Albanian language in this higher education institution continues today. It not only follows the grammar and lexicon of the Albanian language but also studies the literature, history end ethnography of Albania.

Many albanologists and friends of Albania have graduated from this school and have written and published works and studies dedicated to Albania.
