Illegal hunting of swans in Lake Pogradec continues.
Employees of protected areas in Pogradec suggest that a wounded swan with a firearm was found yesterday in front of the city police station. After being caught, the swan was sent towards the rehabilitation center in Divjaka, according to Euronews Albania.
According to them, the swan is suspected to have been hunted with a rifle. The meat of these birds is not consumed, so it is suspected that it was intended to be killed for embalming.
