Tourist Port of Vlora; is announced the winner of the concession worth of 22.8 million euros

 A union of four companies has been announced winners of the concession for the tourist port of Vlora. The selected winning consortium has offered an investment of 22.8 million euros for the transformation of that maritime space.

The Albanian government has announced the winner of the PPP concession that will build and manage the tourist port of Vlora for 35 years. According to the announcement announced in the Public Procurement Agency, the winner has been announced is the merger of the companies: "Marina di Valona" sh.p.k., "Marina Projects" ltd, "Brunes" sh.p.k. and “Ndregjoni” sh.pk, which have offered an investment value of 22.8 million euros without VAT.

In the competition announced in January this year, have participated a total of 3 companies, where two of them, Albavia and Gjikuria were disqualified due to lack of documentation and failure to meet the required criteria.

According to the plan, this new port will be adapted for accommodating boats and yachts and creating an area with commercial and tourist services.

Meanwhile, the cargo port will be moved to the Triport area in Vlora.

The tourist marina is part of the Master Plan of Lungomare in Vlora, which is expected to occupy a considerable area of ​​the port, together with a public park extending to the Skela area.
