So far our country has provided over 2.5 million doses of vaccines against COVID. Considering that two injections per person are needed, the number of doses provided can cover about 45% of the population.
Vaccines provided by agreement:
Pfizer - 500 thousand doses
COVAX - 1 million and 114 doses
Sinovac - 1 million doses
Through the agreement with the American-German company Pfizer, Albania has provided 500 thousand doses of vaccine.
With the prepayment of 3.9 million dollars in the Covax mechanism, according to the Minister of Health, the country has provided 1 million vaccines.
Whereas, after negotiations with a Turkish company authorized to distribute Chinese vaccines, according to Prime Minister Edi Rama, the government has provided 1 million doses of the Sinovac vaccine.
From these agreements but also from the donations that countries like the United Arab Emirates made to Albania, 396,560 doses of vaccines have arrived in the country, including Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, and Sinovac.
In total, according to the Ministry of Health, 281,254 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine have been administered in the country:

205,456 doses of vaccine for the elderly
37,136 doses of vaccines for health personnel
27,231 vaccine doses for teachers
10,913 doses of vaccine for police officers
The Ministry of Health does not specify how many people received two doses and how many received one dose from those who were injected.
