The famous football player Nedim Bajrami received recently his Albanian passport, in the hope that he would get the green light from FIFA to play with the national team of Albania, but FIFA does not allow him.
The Swiss newspaper Blick reports that FIFA has not accepted the request for Bajrami to play with Albania in the future.
It all has to do with the fact that the 22-year-old has played in four matches with U-21 Switzerland.
The regulation says that if a player, after turning 21, plays one or more matches with a national team, even if he is 21 years old, then he cannot change the national team and play with another.
According to Swiss media, FIFA has denied him the right to play with Albania.
This is really bad news as Bajrami was seen as a player with a great future.
