'My father told me that I am Albanian', the 14-year-old Brazilian who plays for the National Team: I want to be red and black

Talent from the country where they have football in their blood has joined the youth of the Albanian National Team. It is about the 14-year-old Brazilian, Viktor Nunes, who debuted with Albania U-15. Born in Portugal, but with all his life spent in Albania, Nunes feels Albanian and feels great pleasure to wear the red and black jersey. He shows this in a statement given to a local TV.

"It was very difficult because there are very good players there. There is a lot of talent in Albania. I think I played well, but see how I passed the test. Do I like to represent Albania? Yes I like it a lot. "I have lived here all my life, while my father tells me that I am Albanian", says Viktor.

Meanwhile, his father, Elder Nunes, who coaches the Tirana United team, does not deny the great pleasure he feels to see his son with the Albanian jersey. But in the end, Elder has a remark for all Albanians.

"I say that it would be a great pleasure to see my son with the Albanian jersey. For me it would be… no need, no need anymore. He is dreaming, and I said to him, 'Nothing has happened yet, and if it does, you will continue your work.' But he is dreaming now, he is dreaming.

I sometimes get upset because many Albanians say that Albania is not made with Albanians. I am angry when I hear this because I say that Albania will be made with Albanians. There is no possibility that Albania will not be made by the Albanians", Elder Nunes said.
