New Jersey Guard soldiers in Tirana to train Albanian Armed Forces

 US Ambassador Yuri Kim welcomed today the American soldiers from the New Jersey National Guard who arrived in Tirana today.

The US Embassy through a post on the official Facebook page announces that they will assist Albania in preparing to receive two UH-60A Blackhawk helicopters from the United States and will also conduct training to prepare the Albanian Armed Forces for the Defender 21 training.

Defender Europe 21 is one of the largest US military training in Europe.

Led by the US Military Command in Europe, this exercise involves the participation of about 31 thousand military troops, 17 thousand of which are American and 14 thousand other troops from 26 allied countries.

Meanwhile, 6,000 American troops and 1 military vehicle, part of the NATO alliance, are expected to conduct military exercises in Albania.
