 In Albania, health authorities extended the curfew by two hours in the evening, as indicators of the Covid-19 pandemic have improved and vaccination is expanding.

The Technical Committee of Experts also decided to reopen flights with the UK.

Albanian health officials announced today their decision to extend for another two hours in the evening the time of movement of citizens and the operation of bars and restaurants because the Covid-19 pandemic is presented with improved indicators.

The Technical Committee of Experts estimated that after the improvements in the last 6 weeks, the traffic stop schedules will be 10 pm to 6 am.

"The number of deaths, new infections and hospitalizations has dropped significantly. Experts estimate that the epidemiological situation is stable and there is a decreasing tendency of infections from the end of March until now "- said the Minister of Health, Ogerta Manastirliu.

This Committee decided to reopen passenger flights with the UK, as there is a significant improvement in the epidemiological situation.

Also in Albania the indicators of the pandemic have significantly improved.

Albania has so far vaccinated about 257 thousand inhabitants or about 1/6 of the total number of its inhabitants.

Hospitalizations with coronavirus have dropped significantly and even the Covid 4 hospital is completely empty.

Vaccination is believed to be improving the condition. Albania vaccinated doctors, teachers, the elderly over 65 and from tomorrow will further reduce the age of vaccination.

Albania has lost during a year about 2 thousand 300 people affected by Covid-19, a total of about 130 thousand people were infected, and are still active with this virus about 30 thousand people..
