Former Ulcinj police chief Rudolf Elezovic disappears

 Rudolf Elezovic, the former long-term head of the Security Department in Ulcinj, disappeared without a trace three days ago, according to the Montenegrin newspaper Vijest.

The case was reported to the police by his wife on Sunday.

The family has lost all contact with Elezovic since Thursday, May 27th.

"His phone is switched off and his wife has not communicated with him since that day," the police statement said, adding that intensive investigations are underway into the case.

Elezovic served as Ulcinj police chief for nearly six years, until 2014, when he was replaced by Sead Gjozovic.

He has worked for several years in managerial positions in the public sector in Ulcinj.
