The prestigious French magazine Monde Gourmand has dedicated a special issue to the traditional Albanian cuisine, evaluating it as delicious and generous.
The prestigious magazine says that Albania has a rich gastronomy, writing that the favorite vegetables are the Mediterranean ones, especially in the south: tomatoes, peppers, garlic, eggplant, mentioning the beans and even the Korça pie.
While giving various traditional recipes of Albanian cuisine, Monde Gourmand writes that there is a lot of fish, where the entire Adriatic coast has red mackerel, fresh fish, shrimp, squid, and wild fish, adding eels and trout which are simply cooked in the oven or in the pan.
