Presevo Valley Albanians seek to join Kosovo because of Serb discrimination

The dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo will resume and the chairman of the Albanian Democratic Party in Serbia Ragmi Mustafa tells Euronews Albania that they want to join Kosovo.

"The dialogue is now at the point of continuing the talks and the Presevo Valley expects to join Kosovo. It is our right to return to our trunk. As long as Belgrade is not interested in us, then we would feel freer to be part of Kosovo," he said.

According to Mr. Mustafa Vucic's demands for the rights of Serbs in Kosovo come because he will create a Serb ministry in Kosovo.

"Serbia is trying to achieve a wider scale for the rights of Serbs in Kosovo, creating a Serb mini-state in Kosovo. Wants territories that are populated by Serbs, but it will be useless," said Mustafa.

At the end of the interview Mustafa calls for the eyes to be turned to Presevo, Bujanovci, and Medvedja, as the same thing could happen as with Chameria.

"We must join Kosovo and this is the only solution. Albanians in these territories are leaving their properties due to discrimination and if it continues like this and with the passivation of addresses, it will happen the same as with Chameria in Greece", adds Mustafa.
