Switzerland invites four Albanians to the European Championship

 Switzerland has published the list of 29 players for the European Championship "Euro 2020", where among the names are 4 Albanians, including Andi Zeqiri.

The news was published on Wednesday when the list of the selector Vladimir Petkovic was made public.

Selector Petkovic has said that 26 players will remain on the list, as three will leave, after friendly matches with the USA and Haiti.

"All 29 players have the opportunity to fulfill their dream by appearing in Europe. But good performance is the key."

"The best from this moment will compete to be part of the European. There will be 26 players who together make a strong group. Some young players have the opportunity to gain experience," said Petkovic.

Out of 29 players, there are four goalkeepers, 10 defenders, and 15 midfielders and strikers, while the surprise is the Albanian Andi Zeqiri and Dan Ndoye.

Zeqiri has long been a target of the Kosovo Football Federation, but he decided to play with Switzerland U21 in Europe.

The other invited Albanians are Granit Xhaka, Xherdan Shaqiri, and Admir Mehmedi.
