For the first time, Albania will be represented by the national women's tennis team in an international event. The Albanian girls will participate in the 'Bill Gin Cup' in Lithuania.

"It is a great honor to know that tennis has been a part of my life. I wanted to get somewhere and represent my country. "It's also a very big emotion," said Grace Bajri.

Kristi Dule is the champion of Albania in tennis coming from Italy. She has recently learned Albanian fluently and has chosen to represent her parents' country of origin.

"My father and mother are of Albanian origin. I was born in Italy, but I like more Albania. I came here from Italy to be part of the Albanian national tennis team. I played in tournaments here and it was very, very difficult, but I won because I played well,” said Kristal Dule, champion of Albania.

Meanwhile, the boys' national team will face a difficult competition like the 'Davis Cup'.

"The goal is to always raise the flag above. Every year the group is coming together and getting stronger. The training is also getting better and we hope to be better represented this year," said Martin Muedini, champion of Albania.

The president of the federation does not promise surprises in international competitions, but he is down to earth.

"Knowing the high level that the world has in tennis and the traditions that have been inherited for years, our goal is to grow in the rankings. "If today we are 104th in the world, we think that in this activity we will go below 100," said Ferdinand Sulo, president of the tennis federation.
