The Bonn Classical Philharmonic in Germany has chosen the famous violinist of Albanian origin, Ervis Gega-Dodi as its General Manager. The Philharmonic Board of Directors voted unanimously. The news was officially published in the German media.

Violinist Gega-Dodi is thus elected the successor to the post of renowned German conductor Heribert Beissel, who founded and directed the Bonn Classical Philharmonic for over 50 years.

It was the last message of Beissel, before he passed away a few weeks ago, for Gega-Dodi to take over the direction of the Bonn Classical Philharmonic. "Because she has musical skills and experience… In addition, her name is very well known in artistic circles, with which she is very well associated", it was written, among other things, in the will of prof. Beissel.

The Bonn Classical Philharmonic performs in the most famous music halls of Germany, among others with great success with the series of the Viennese Classic repertoire (Wiener Klassik).

"We will continue the Viennese Classic series. And we will use the stage for internationally renowned artists, as well as as a springboard for young, talented conductors", said Ervis Gega-Dodi after taking over the direction of the Bonn Classical Philharmonic.
