Albanians think that unemployment is the most important issue for the country: survey

Unemployment is the main problem that worries Albanians, shows the survey of MRB, made for Euronews Albania.

Among the 1,000 interviews, 51.4% think that unemployment is one of the three most important issues the country is facing currently.

The second most worrying issue for Albanians is corruption (46%) while the third remains the economy (43.8%).

In addition to unemployment, corruption, and the economy, Albanians see the cost of living, immigration, and health as issues of concern.

Main concerns:

Unemployment 51.4%

Corruption 46%

Economy 43.8%

In the comparison made between the two polls, one conducted before the parliamentary elections (April 19) and the other after the elections (May 25 to June 2), the unemployment rate remains high.

But while before the elections the economy was the second issue after the elections this place is occupied by corruption.

Meanwhile, COVID-19, which was considered before the election as the fourth issue the country was facing after the election, has been replaced by the cost of living.

One of the issues that the respondents have identified as less important is the level of crime, which in both surveys comes out last.
