Austria and the Netherlands remove travel restrictions with Albania

Austria has decided to lift all travel restrictions with Albania so Albanian citizens may move freely without having to get a negative COVID-19 test.

The news is announced by Rinas International Airport, which claims that passengers can travel freely to Austria starting tomorrow.

"Austria removes all restrictions on passengers with biometric passports traveling to Austria, starting June 24, 2021," said in a statement.

The only criterion that must be respected by passengers is to be equipped with a mask of type FFP2. The epidemiological situation of COVID-19 in Albania has shown a downward trend and this fact is viewed with optimism by both citizens and businesses.

The Netherlands has joined Austria, also removing restrictions on travelers from Albania. The only condition for persons traveling to the Netherlands is the completion of a form. Once completed this form should be printed and kept with you during the trip.

"The Netherlands removes all restrictions for Albanian passengers with biometric passports traveling to the Netherlands, starting from June 24, 2021. The only criterion, please to the Albanian citizens traveling to the Netherlands, to complete the Health Declaration Form",  Rinas airport authorities said.
