Drug trafficking in Switzerland and Germany, the two Albanians who led the gang identified

An investigation launched by the Swiss authorities and the Tirana Prosecutor's Office has revealed a group of drug traffickers in Switzerland and Germany.

7 people were arrested based on the evidence administered, while two leaders of the group were identified, including a firefighter in the capital, namely Ndriçim Harka and Etmond Merja, resident in Tirana.

Harka has already been arrested, while Merja, who turns out to be his brother-in-law, has been declared wanted by the authorities, as Euronews Albania reports.

Unofficial sources from the investigative group suggest that the leaders of the group recruited Albanian citizens and sent them to Switzerland for distribution and sale of cocaine, for a fee of 3500 euros.

The investigation for this group started 6 years ago when 3 kg of cocaine were seized to a German and an Albanian.

The group was kept under surveillance and field surveillance until criminal activity was proven and documented.
