One person was arrested and 15 others were detained by order of the Tirana Prosecutor's Office, as they are suspected of being involved in falsifying certificates issued for COVID 19 tests, for citizens traveling abroad.
The investigation of the Prosecution started after the denunciation of one of the medical laboratories in the capital, which had ascertained that with its logo were issued forged certificates confirming the completion of the test for COVID 19.
It is learned that Ronald Karrica, who had a shop where he made photocopies and prints, ended up in handcuffs. Numerous communications were found on his mobile phone with people who sent him names and ID card details in order for him to prepare fake certificates for the COVID 19 test in exchange of payments of up to 25 euros, significantly cheaper than it is in reality, the real cost of performing the buffer and obtaining the relevant certificate required in the case of travel abroad.
