The Albanian director continues her success with her short film "Schauerfilm" at international festivals. The film won the award for best short film at the ninth edition of the Twilight Tokyo Film Festival, which ended last night in Japan.

In May, it was also awarded at the "Festival de Indie" in Chennai, India, with the award for best horror film. This is the thirteenth award for this film from over 30 international festivals in which it has been screened so far.
The black comedy with elements of the horror genre deals with the strange disappearances of students in an old school mysterious labyrinth, around which strange stories are 'woven'. ‘Schauerfilm’ bears the title used as a symbol for the German expressionism of the thirties in cinematography. This is the thirteenth award for this film from over 30 international festivals in which it has been screened so far.
