Two Turkish clubs in the race for defender Shkodran Mustafi

 Shkodran Mustafi left Arsenal in January and signed for six months with the German team of Schalke 04. The latter dropped out of the Bundesliga and Mustafi did not renew but is waiting for offers from clubs interested in him.

Turkey will most likely be his new destination. Turkish media report that Fenerbahce and Goztepe are the clubs specifically interested in the services of the former world champion with Germany.

The defender himself has given the green light for the transfer to this country and his agent is working to clarify his future. Both clubs are well known in Turkey and aim to build teams for the title in the new season.
