23-year-old Albanian sentenced to prison in England after hitting by bicycle to death 72-year old man

 An Albanian cyclist who fatally injured an elderly passerby in England has been sentenced to prison. Ermir Loka, 23, hit the 72-year-old Peter McCombie last year.

The pensioner died eight days later in hospital. The Albanian entered in red and hit the old man. A court sentenced him to two years in prison. After the hit, Loka left the scene. Only after a few police appeals made him to surrender.

The Albanian had entered illegally in England. He said he left the scene after panicking because he is an illegal immigrant.

The victim's family said he was shown a coward after leaving and letting the old man in the middle of the road. 

"The anger we feel towards him is beyond words," the family said.

A police official said that if Loka had slowed down and respected the signs, nothing would have happened.
