Ambassador Kim meets new investigators of the National Bureau of Investigation

Ambassador Yuri Kim met today with the new investigators of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) known locally by the acronym BKH, who are at the end of their training.

Through a post on Twitter, Ambassador Kim praised their work as very important and difficult, while she expressed her belief in the certain success.

The ambassador said in a statement on her official website that the United States will strongly support BKH investigators in the fight against corruption and organized crime.

Out of 325 candidates, 210 are qualified for the National Bureau of Investigation, of which 28 passed the final stage of the competition.

BKH, which complements the structure of Special Anti-Corruption Structure (SPAK), has not yet been set up due to delays in the selection of investigators, while the head of SPAK, Arben Kraja, has previously stated that they will be ready to start work in August, under the direction of prosecutors of the Special Prosecution.
