Memorandum of understanding between Albania and the USA on 4G and 5G security approved

 The Council of Ministers decided today the approval of the memorandum of understanding, between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the government of the United States of America, on 4G and 5G security.

The 5G technology cooperation agreement between the US and Albania was signed by Prime Minister Edi Rama and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a meeting this month in Brussels.

After signing the agreement, Blinken thanked Prime Minister Rama, emphasizing that a very strong example is being set for others for the most sensitive technology networks.
