The first COVID-19 victim in Albania a month after the last

 Deaths from COVID-19 have returned to Albania after more than a month without fatalities.

In the latest data made public by the Ministry of Health, it is announced that a 74-year-old citizen from Kurbin lost his life, who was not vaccinated.

The last case of death from coronavirus in our country was marked on June 26th.

Since the onset of the pandemic, there have been 2,457 loss of life from COVID-19 in Albania.

Regarding the new cases, out of 3,316 tests performed, 30 people were affected.

There are currently 321 active patients with COVID-19 across the country, while there is an increase in cases in need of hospital treatment bringing the number to 17 patients.
