The mayor of Lushnja is officially dismissed for 'serious abuses'

 Fatos Tushe was dismissed today, by government decision, from his duty as Mayor of Lushnja.

Mr. Tushe was arrested yesterday, accused of "abuse of office in cooperation".

In the official government document for the dismissal of Mr. Tushe writes that the dismissal is being done "due to serious violations".

The decision to dismiss the former mayor of Lushnja entered into force immediately.

Before running for the Municipality of Lushnja in 2011, Fatos Tushe served as a Member of Parliament for the Fier area and as a member of the Socialist Party. He later resigned as an MP because he ran for Lushnja municipality in the 2011 local elections.
