SERIOUS EVENT
Ten people lost their lives and 44 others were injured in the accident of a bus with Kosovo license plates traveling in transit to Croatia.
The Croatian newspaper Jutarnji said the accident happened at around 6:20 a.m. on Slavonski Brod, the border road to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Deva Tours company bus had 67 passengers and two drivers on board, 10 of whom unfortunately lost their lives - 9 passengers and one driver - while 44 others were taken to Slavonski Brod Hospital.
The Croatian director of Civil Protection, Damir Trut, said that 8 of the injured were serious, where 4 of them were forced to undergo surgery.
In total, about 15 people have passed this tragedy without any problems, while the Croatian authorities have launched investigations into the causes of the accident.
Immediately, another bus left for Croatia to pick up the passengers who fortunately were safe.
PASSENGER EVIDENCE
One of the passengers of the bus that was involved in the tragic accident of Albanian emigrants in Croatia told the Croatian television "HRT Vijesti" the difficult moments he went through.
"When something exploded in a second, I saw all those people, all the meadow, down there, that canal near the highway. I saw the wounded, the dead, I saw everything, without hands, I saw everything, I saw everything" said Ramo Gashi, describing the terrible sight he saw.

INVESTIGATIONS: DRIVER SLEEP IS SUSPECTED
The accident that took the lives of 10 Kosovo passengers this morning in Croatia is suspected to have been caused by the driver's drowsiness.
This is what prosecutor Slavko Pranjic told the Croatian media after the first investigation of the event, which left 44 people injured in addition to the victims.
Pranjic is quoted by Croatian media as saying that the bus driver admitted that he had fallen asleep for a while behind the wheel. He is currently under arrest, but authorities say they are further investigating to fully uncover the reasons why the bus went off the road.
