 Colonel Lazër Bojaxhiu was an Officer of the Albanian Army, active in all national manifestations in exile.

In a rare photo of Anjeza Gonxhe Bojaxhiu's brother alias Mother Teresa (St. Teresa of Calcutta), courtesy of Micky Haxhiislami, taken in 1980, Colonel Lazër Bojaxhiu is seen in Palermo, Italy.

 Colonel Lazër Bojaxhiu, Mother Teresa's brother accompanied by Nermine Vlora Falaschi, granddaughter of Ismail Qemal Vlora on the occasion of the inauguration of "Skënderbej Square" in Paris (1980).
He signed many interviews and opinions on the situation in Albania, in one of which he would express himself.

"We are Albanians, not Yugoslavs, as all the world's newspapers write. The misunderstanding came from Skopje, the city where we were born, which was previously Albanian and then passed to Yugoslavia. But we all continue to speak Albanian and my sister (who also knows English and a little French) writes letters to me in Albanian.
