First Afghans arriving in Kosovo
The first plane with 100 Afghan migrants arrived in Kosovo tonight, who left the country after the Taliban took control of power.

They arrived in Pristina on a United States Air Force plane. The Afghans will stay temporarily in Kosovo, while their final destination is America.

Kosovo's highest authorities of the country have come to the airport to meet the Afghans, Euronews Albania reports.

There are currently no exact data on the number of arrivals, but it is expected that there will be more flights the following day. The Kosovo authorities have already adopted a decision guaranteeing protection to Afghans.

Kosovo, according to information so far, is expected to house a total of about 2,000 Afghan migrants.
