In Albania, there is a significant increase in new cases of coronavirus infection. In the last 24 hours, 99 new cases have been registered, which is the highest figure in the country for several months.
Thankfully no casualties were reported during this time.
There are currently 539 active cases of COVID-19 in Albania.
The number of patients admitted to Covid Hospital has also slightly increased. There are currently 23 coronavirus patients being treated at the Infectious Diseases Hospital.
