Three Albanians stuck in Afghanistan, they may be evacuated

 Due to the war that has broken out between the Taliban and the Afghans, it is reported that among the residents in Afghanistan are 3 citizens from Kosovo who are unable to leave due to the war.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo announces that it is contacting 3 persons whom it is trying to help. The Ministry confirms that so far these citizens are well and not endangered.


KOSOVO FOREIGN MINISTRY: 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora (MFAD) is continuing its intensive engagement today to identify and assist Kosovo citizens who are in Afghanistan in order to leave as soon as possible. Until noon on Monday, MFAD is in direct contact with three citizens and is committed to assisting them. They are in good condition and are not endangered. MFAD called on all our citizens in Afghanistan to call the emergency line number +383 45 492 316, to get the necessary instructions and assistance as soon as possible. The Government of the Republic of Kosovo remains committed to working with international partners to provide all available means until the evacuation of all our citizens from Afghanistan.
