Albania sends Albanian textbooks to the diaspora in 10 countries

 The Diaspora Publishing Center in cooperation with the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs has today started sending textbooks for teaching the Albanian language to Bulgaria, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Japan, Ukraine, England, Croatia, Denmark and the USA.

There are 3595 textbooks "Learning the mother tongue" (1, 2, 3) predetermined for the teaching of Albanian language and culture, sent free of charge by the Publishing Center for the Diaspora, addressed to the Albanian Embassy in Sofia, Bulgaria (60 total texts); Albanian Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden (550 texts in total); Albanian Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden, for Finland (480 texts in total); Albanian Embassy in Stockholm, Sweden, for Norway (100 texts in total); Albanian Embassy in Tokyo, Japan (30 texts in total); Albanian Embassy in Warsaw, Poland for Ukraine (20 texts in total); Albanian Embassy in London, England, UK (685 texts in total); Albanian Embassy in Zagreb, Croatia (140 texts in total); Albanian Embassy in Copenhagen, Denmark (450 texts in total); The Albanian Embassy in Washington, DC, USA (1080 texts in total).

All books are free for children attending Albanian language schools.

Textbooks and supplementary literature have been provided and published by the DCC in fulfillment of the requests sent by the Albanian schools in the Diaspora and in implementation of the Decision of the Council of Ministers no. 448, dated 22.07.2021, for "Approval of prices and categories that benefit free of charge textbooks published by the Publishing Center for the Diaspora, for the school year 2021-2022".
