Two Albanian candidates, Miftar Kastrati and Bekim Thaçi have won the September 26 elections held in several municipalities in Austria. They will be part of the Municipal Council for the next six years in the municipalities where they live.

Miftar Kastrati has competed in the list of the PVP Party (Austrian People's Party) in the city of Vöcklabruck. He is ranked among the most voted candidates in this city. 

"It is a great pleasure for me, but at the same time an achievement for the ÖVP party. I thank all my voters for their great support because only through them I managed to take the 3rd place among the candidates of ÖVP, while the 4th place among 219 candidates of all competing parties ", Said Miftari among other things to albinfo.at.
