Police officer Saimir Hoxha killed in Lezha during an anti-cannabis control, Aldo Rama suspected of murder

 This morning, the police officer, Saimir Hoxha, was killed with a firearm on Lezha.

The officer was attacked with a weapon while he and his colleagues were conducting a routine control for narcotic plants in the area.

According to the police, Aldo Rama is suspected to be the person who injured the officer, who lost his life on the way to the hospital.

While other sources write that during the police patrol, a stopped vehicle was found. Officer Saimir Hoxha sat down to go near the vehicle and verify the person. As soon as he approached, the 21-year-old Aldo Rama shot with a gun, injuring him. The bullet hit the officer in the heart, who died on the way to the hospital.

The 21-year-old, previously convicted for the production and sale of narcotics, drove away from the scene.

Police have cordoned off the area and it is only a matter of hours before his arrest.

RENEA special forces, FNSH groups, and a special investigative group from the General Directorate of State Police have been launched to assist the local police.
