26-year-old Albanian Kliton Pira kills his girlfriend and jumps to death from the 8th floor in Tirana

 Jealousy is suspected to have been the cause of the serious incident recorded on Saturday night in the capital where the 31-year-old Ghanaian girl Jekouki Jaboa and the 26-year-old Albanian Kliton Pira lost their lives.

Initially, it was the latter who stabbed his girlfriend, and this caused her death, while the young man from Dibra himself committed the heinous act by jumping from the 8th floor of the daily rented apartment.

Relatives of the 26-year-old, as well as neighbors in the rented apartment, have been questioned about the event, but up to this stage the police and the prosecution have set up tracks only in the framework of suspicions.

The young couple have been in a love affair for months, which is learned to have been created through social media during the time they both stayed in England.

Kliton Pira had returned to Albania a month ago, while the 31-year-old Ghanaian arrived on Saturday morning, a day that marked the end of her life.

This event further aggravated the balance of women killed in Albania during 2021, wherein just 9 months 14 victims were recorded.
