45 kg of heroin destined to Italy seized in Durres Port, two arrested

 Police have provided official information regarding the heroine found yesterday in a truck in the port of Durres.

Police report that 45.5 kilograms of heroin were seized, according to a Police official announcement.

As part of the operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto: Olgerd Duda, 36 years old, resident in Fier, and Arian Çerma, 45 years old, resident in Durrës.

The persons in question were arrested after during the control at the exit in the second line, in the truck type "Scania" owned by Çerma, driven by Duda loaded with chrome, destined for Italy, specifically in the cabin of the truck, were found hidden 43 wrapped packages inside which contained suspected heroin narcotics, with a total weight of 45 kilograms and 500 grams.
