5 people in handcuffs for terrorism in Kosovo

Equipment of those accused of terrorist acts in Prishtina

 The Directorate against Terrorism in Kosovo has arrested 5 people who are suspected of preparing terrorist acts.

According to the Special Prosecution of Kosovo, the action took place after several months of investigation, according Euronews. 

During controls inside the suspects' apartments were found explosives, firearms, drones, as well as anti-tank weapons.

The charges against the 5 arrestees are expected to be aggravated: "Preparation of terrorist acts", "arms trafficking" and "illegal possession of weapons".

The operation conducted was quite secret, while the residences of the arrestees who ended up in handcuffs are not disclosed either.
