Albanian artist Milot Mirashi wins the "Sculptor of the Year" award 2021 in Kiev

 Albanian artist Milot Alfred Mirashi was praised last weekend with the important award among personalities from the art world in the garden of the Oblate Library, in Florence for "Celebrity Awards 2021".

The international ceremony, which took place in Kiev every year and rewards professionals in various sectors who have achieved success or who have contributed to the development of culture, art, music, diplomacy, environment, and humanity.

Alfred Milot Mirashi, who lives and works in Florence, the Italian-Albanian artist is known above all for his extraordinary works of monumental sculptures. Recently he is realizing in Avellino "The Key of Montevergines", a work of almost 50 meters, one of the largest sculptures in Europe made of corten steel. With his installations, the artist sends a message to the world: "We must not keep the doors closed, everyone must have the opportunity to realize their dreams." Its keys as installations can be called "The Key to Unity" with a message where exists the hope for open dialogue towards a peaceful development between peoples.

The award ceremony took place under the auspices of the Ukrainian Consulate in Florence with its representative Oxana Polataitchouk.
