Arbi Agalliu explaining in a screen the procedures relating to energy |
"In the first tender, 16.7 million euros were spent to buy electricity, while on the stock exchange it could be bought very well for 12 million euros. So, the Albanian government has spent 4 million euros more.
In the second tender, about 10 million euros were spent to buy electricity, while on the stock exchange it could be bought for only 7.4 million euros. So, 2.5 million euros more have been spent.
Tender number three, the government has bought electricity worth 12 million euros, while on the stock exchange it could be bought for 9.4 million euros. So, 3.4 million euros more. In total, over 10 million euros have been spent from the state budget", Agalliu said.
According to him, the problem is not the increase in the price of electricity on the stock exchange, but the corruption of this government and the affairs in tenders.
