Another school for teaching the Albanian language has opened its doors for children in Switzerland. After the opening of the Albanian School in Cham, in the canton of Zug, now it is Baar's turn.
"Albanian parents love and preserve their mother tongue. They instruct their children to learn as well as possible the language of their ancestors, or as we call it, their mother tongue. Is there a greater joy than to see the smile of these children, who, although born far from home, want to learn and preserve their mother tongue.
These students have reason to smile because they started with lessons in Albanian. Teacher Minire Azemi, together with her students at the Albanian school in Baar, in the canton of Zug in Switzerland,” reads the announcement of the school.
The opening of Albanian language classes is a continuous effort of the teachers of the Albanian School in Switzerland and the parents who became strong support of these persistent efforts, to make the Albanian school as close as possible to the children of Albanian emigrants in Switzerland brought visible results, results of which we should all be proud.
"Even this school year 2021/22, is continuing to bring warm smiles in the lessons of the Albanian school. This Friday, October 23, 2021, a school opened in Baar, Canton of Zug, Switzerland, where teacher Minire Azemi works. From the first day, they also had the books that had come to them from the Publishing Center for the Diaspora, through the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Bern. And this Friday brought smiles on the faces of Albanian school students; Erisa, Semina, Leoni, Viola, Robini, Elma, Rona, Lindi, Leoniti carefully follow the teacher's lecture and her explanations about the Albanian language.
It is also worth mentioning that next week some other students will join this school, who will attend classes in the Albanian language.
