FIFA fines Albania 150 thousand Swiss Francs and 1 match without spectators relating to incidents against Poland

 The Albanian Football Federation (AFF) learned yesterday the decision taken by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, regarding the incidents that occurred in the Albania-Poland match, played on October 12, 2021, at Air Albania Stadium.

Today's decision punishes the Albanian Football Federation with a fine of 150 thousand francs and forces to play the last eliminatory match for the World Cup "Qatar 2022" without the presence of fans.

 The AFF expresses its regret for this decision taken and will take all necessary measures so that such situations, caused by some individuals, do not occur in the future and do not harm our National Team in their international appearance.

The federation will evaluate the possibilities for appealing the decision within the foreseen deadlines.
