Police do not find Adriatik Llalla, SPAK starts procedures for declaring the former chief prosecutor internationally wanted

Tirana Police has responded with an official letter to the Special Prosecution against Crime and Corruption (known locally as SPAK) ", where it informs that the former Chief Prosecutor Adriatik Llalla has not been found.

Police say that they did all the verifications with special methods, but did not found him, so they asked the SPAK to start the procedures to declare Llalla internationally wanted.

According to the verifications, Llalla left the country a few days before the announcement of the court decision to sentence him to two years in prison and to confiscate his property, where immediately after that he was declared nationally wanted.

On the other hand, SPAK is obliged to start the procedures for the international search for Llalla, immediately after receiving the letter from the police. So far, it does not appear that the announcement was made with a red card, but it is likely that within a few days, the name of the former chief Prosecutor of Albania will be included in the list of internationally wanted persons.
