"We have gone through a very difficult situation with 2 earthquakes, with the pandemic, but now is the time to reopen, it is time to celebrate, to know friends, to start from scratch and it is time to recover. With this first activity, we not only make the presentation of the new British ambassador in Tirana, but we also start a season of activities, which only has its beginning in today's film", underlined Veliaj.
He added that next year, where Tirana is the "European Capital of Youth", about 1 thousand activities will take place, many of which will be in cooperation with Great Britain.
The British Ambassador in Tirana, Alastair King-Smith said that this film premiere is just the beginning of further cooperation between Albania and Britain.
"We are starting with one of the best films that represent British culture, in order to bring Albania and the United Kingdom as close as possible. This is not only at the rank of governments but also the unification of the people. "Therefore, we will look at ways to build stronger and closer joint relations between the two countries."
