Russian diplomat being declared non grata in Kosovo after Albania

The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo Donika Gërvalla has declared today "persona non grata" two Russians. Denis Vengerskii and Alexey Kryvosheev have been identified by the magnifying glass of Kosovo institutions, which have concluded that their activity violates national security.

Alexey Kryvosheev is not an unknown name for our country. He has been declared non grata even by the Albanian authorities since in January of this year, according to the government, he has continuously broken the anti-covid measures in Albania.

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani also reacted to the non-grata declaration of two Russian diplomats.

"The institutions of the Republic of Kosovo stay firm in the fight against the malignant influence of the Russian Federation and its satellites in the region, which aim to undermine our achievements and those of the United States, NATO, and the EU.

For this reason, we will continue to work closely with our American and European allies, to prevent the attempt for Kosovo and our region to fall prey to the destabilizing ambitions of the Russian Federation", said Vjosa Osmani.
