Vlora International Airport construction begins on November 28

Through a Facebook post, Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that on November 28, Independence Day, will begin the construction of Vlora International Airport.

The Vlora airport project has been postponed several times and the government has said that it happened as a result of the crises caused by the earthquake and the pandemic.

On Facebook, Rama also announced that on November 29, the traffic on Arbri Road will be opened. The Prime Minister made this announcement earlier this Thursday in the Assembly, taking this project as an example of why, according to him, the Public-Private Partnership is in the best interest of the citizens. "I am not at all complexed by what you say. But the facts speak and on November 29 the road of Arbri is opened for people to cross, with the only problem being that in Qafën e Murrizit, due to the geological composition of the tunnel, which has created well-documented delays, all the rest is ready. Here is what the public-private partnership does here. "If it was done with the state budget, we would bring out a bunch of money, as you have done for us and for your projects without geological projects", said Rama.
